Every dog in our program has been trained, evaluated, and prepared for a successful transition into a loving home. Adoption is 100% free, as our mission is to save lives—not collect fees.

Adoptable Dogs

  • A close-up of a light-colored dog with droopy eyes and a relaxed expression, wearing a brown collar against a blue background.

Pete, 6 Year Old Male Dogo Argentino

Pete is neutered and up to date on vaccines, perfectly trained, loveable companion who’s great with female dogs and does well with male dogs with proper introductions. He’s house and crate trained, spot-on with obedience, and always ready for a hike, a game of fetch, or a cozy movie night.

His goofy bursts of puppy energy mean he’d do best in a home without small kids. Pete was headed to a shelter before we stepped in, and he’s been with us for over a year—though we don’t know why. He’s calm and well-mannered in public, great at down-stays, and loves meeting new friends at the local brewery.

Pete is ready for his forever home—could it be yours?

Beau, 3 year old Male Lab/Shepard Mix

Beau is a lovable 2-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who was rescued just minutes from euthanasia at a Northern California shelter. Initially labeled as aggressive, he immediately proved that was far from the truth—he melted into our laps, happily allowed baths, and quickly found a forever home. Sadly, he was returned after his adopter lost their home in the Palisades fire.

Beau is thriving in obedience and is a smart, playful, affectionate dog. True to his Lab side, he loves toys, running in the yard, playing with other dogs, and curling up on his pillow for downtime. He can experience mild anxiety in large crowds, around loud noises, or near cars, but he communicates politely when he needs a break and happily retreats to his crate.

Beau does well with female dogs and male dogs with proper introductions. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for an adopter willing to continue training with Blue Light to ensure a smooth transition into his new home. With guidance and love, Beau will be a loyal, fun, and devoted companion.

Jag, 5 Year Old Male Belgian Malinois

Jag is Jill’s brother and a classic high-energy Belgian Malinois who thrives when he has a job to do. He’s obedience-trained, house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines—ready for an active home that understands working-dog drive.

Jag does best with female dogs or very submissive males, and he’s extremely toy-driven with a big desire to work, train, and burn off energy. Once he’s had his playtime and mental stimulation, he turns into a total cuddlebug who loves affection and downtime with his people.

He would truly excel in a working-dog environment or with an adopter who enjoys training, structure, and lots of activity. Jag is smart, driven, loving, and looking for a home that can keep up with his enthusiasm and heart.

Is Jag the working partner—and companion—you’ve been searching for?

Dot, 8 Month Old Female Border Collie Mix

Dot is an 8-month-old female Border Collie mix who was rescued alongside her brother, Dip, after being abandoned in a ditch at just 4 months old. She’s playful, smart, and loves interacting with other dogs—but she’s timid around people and prefers dog company while she builds trust.

Dot is awaiting her spay and is fully vaccinated and at a healthy weight. She will do best with a patient adopter who can provide consistent care, a singular point of trust, and the guidance of a confident K9 companion. With continued training support from Blue Light, Dot has the potential to thrive and become a loyal, playful, and loving family member.
